Hello, my name is Greg and I am the Vice-President this year - for the second year running.

This is my 5th year of being in MPS. Yes I really am that old!! The reason I am in MPS is because I love going outdoors, party for the spectacular scenery and partly for the challenges the great outdoors can offer. In the past years I have found no better way to pursue this interest here at university than through MPS.

I'm hanging around this year whilst writing up my phd thesis to pass on the tips I have picked up along the way, and do my best to support Ben our president in putting on more awesome trips.

You will also get to sample my (rather good!) cooking on MPS trips, as I am in charge of the evening meals!

These pictures are a handpicked selection of some of the places i have been and antics I have got up to:

Domes du Miage in the alps - a bit of a slog at the time, but happy memories in retrospect! It is recommended as a classic off piste ski route for those who are proficient. !

A lovely day's walking; this is at the top of Ben Wyvis, Ullapool, Christmas 2009.

This is a typical lump of peak gritstone found on top of kinder scout.
