This trip was in a awesome location. Arriving at the car park at about 3 in the morning, we had a half an hour walk in, followed by acrobatics on the wire rope bridge. The hut is basic but makes it all the more fun to stay there.
On the Sunday, I went up Aonach Beag and Aonach Mor alone. The summit of Aonach Beag was a overhanging ice cornice, and the cairn was buried. I didn't go too near the edge! The clouds spent the whole day at about 5000ft, and as a result there were some great views of the Ben.
James, Matt, Al, and Nick went to try and climb a grade 2/3 ice climb on Aonoch Beag, but bit off more than they could chew. James took a tumble, and from all accounts was lucky not to be seriously hurt. Other people went for a scramble or a bimble.
Don't forget to leave your name with the comment!
I wasn't there but the trip sounded awesome. -- Gaff
We mounted the ring (of Steall) and spent a lovely day pounding away. Some excellent views of the ring towards the end of the day.
