Situated south of Stob Ban in Glen Nevis. Jim, Damian, Grahame, Al H and Franco ended up here after changing their plan of going to nearby Larig Leacach. (Gusty windys knocked us of the ridge that would have taken us there). This bothy is spacious (could sleep 16+ at a push), with two downstairs rooms and a sleeping loft (missing glass in the window on our visit). One of the downstairs rooms has the luxury of wooden floorbaords, both have fireplaces. Plenty of munros nearby, though some on the south side of the glen may require river corssings. We enjoyed our stay here so much that we didn't get up until 9.30, although his might have had more to do with the cold. There is some confusion as to the spelling of Meanach on different maps, but I'm going with the plaque on the bothy itself. Franco.
